Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around achar City in Assam.  Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640.
                Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been following activities – Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar. He has been talking about starting both the programs around Cachar and was willing to do whatever it takes to start these two programs in and around the city. He even identified four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified one Bala Samskar teacher. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samrat Ji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.
Matru Pitru Pujan Divas 
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very to announce that on the occasion of Bengali Hindu New Year ie Noboborsho GHHF, Assam Chapter organized *Matri Pitri pujan divas* that is Worshipping Parents Day. More than 350 families of Assam participated. All the Bala Samskar centres performed Puja. GHHF, Assam is trying to revive the Bengali Hindus culture which is on the verge losing its culture due to westernization.
Sri Samratji arranged the program where more than 50 students worshipped their parents sitting at the feet of their parents to show their respect. He extensively talked about the importance of parents and why we should respect our parents, The parents are the only ones in our lives who care for their children, raise the with so much love and sacrifice their lives for the sake of their children. They do not expect any favors from their children. It is pure love – that is called parents love for children.
Ever since GHHF started Bala Samskar, we have emphasized the importance upholding our traditional values, customs, and traditions. All these customs have so much significance that they continue to exercise so much influence on Hindu culture even today. Respecting parents and elders is practiced even toddy.
    Our Hindu culture teaches us to practice the essence of the saying Matru Devo Bhava and Pitru Devo Bhava.  Many incidents of Children and even adults respecting their parents are found in our scriptures. Our scriptures say “serving parents is the best penance”
Kurma Purana says “The father, mother, teacher, elder brother and one's provider- these five are considered as one's superiors. He who desires prosperity should revere these superiors at all times by all means, even if he loses his life. The son should be devoted to them and make their care his first priority.” (2.12.32-34) 
According to Narada Purana, “Bhagavān Viṣhṇu said to Ṛṣi Mārkandeya- “They who serve their parents, thinking of their father as the Lord of the Universe, and Mother as the holy River Ganga they indeed are My best Bhaktās.”
There are many stories of Children respecting their parents, respecting their words, and fulfilling their desires are found in our scriptures. Shravan Kumar served his blind parents, He even carried them to Kashi to fulfill their desire to go to a pilgrimage center. Rama respected his mother Kaikeyi words and gave up his kingdom. Adi Shankara changes the course of River for his mother in Kaladai in Kerala.
The program conducted by our Bala Samskar Kendras celebrating the Parents Worshipping Day is published in the local newspapers.
More than 250 people attended the celebration of Matru Pitru Pujan Divas organized by our GHHF Chapter under the leadership of Sri Samratji and his team of volunteers.
