Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is incredibly happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam. Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640.
                Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been coordinating and organizing activities in ASSAM– Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar and other activities. He was responsible for identifying four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified 10 teachers for Bala Samskar. He even found three villages where Bala Samskar Kendras are being sponsored by them. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to SamratJi for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.

Bala Samskar Kendras Celebrated Rabindranath Tagore

GHHF Bala Samskar centers with the help and participation of villagers celebrated Rabindra Jayanti on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Great Rabindranath Tagore.

Not only the matter of the ground-level revolution is important, but the cultural fraternity, the art, Songs, Poetry, novels, short stories, and other forms of writing and recitations actually form the foundation of a revolution.

 Rabindranath Tagore was a Bengali polymath who worked as a poet, writer, playwright, composer, philosopher, social reformer, and painter. He reshaped Bengali literature and music as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries

Rabindranath Tagore composed and wrote our National anthem. Apart from Jana Gana Mana (the National Anthem of India), his composition ‘Amar Shonar Bangla’ was adopted as the National Anthem of Bangladesh and the National Anthem of Sri Lanka was inspired by one of his works.

Rabindranath Tagore specifically said about the other two religions:

 there are two religions in the world  which have distinct enmity against all other religions. These two  are Christianity and Islam. They are. Not just satisfied with observing their  own religion  but are determined to destroy all other religions. That’s why the only way to make peace with them is to embrace their religions ( Book Rabindranath 24,page375 ,Viswa Bharati, 1882)

Competitions held; Prizes Distributed

On this occasion competition organized on Rabindra Math Tagore poem, song etc. Bala Samskar Children along with other children of the village participated, recited poems. Following the competition, prizes were distributed amongst the participants. The Villagers also participated and performed the life history of Tagore.

               Many teachers read about the parts of Tagore’s life history, the poems he has written and mentioned the number of books he has written. They reminisced about the Nobel Prize he received for his literature. Some of his famous short stories include ‘Kabuliwala,’ ‘Kshudita Pashan,’ ‘Atottju,’ ‘Haimanti’ and ‘Musalmanir Golpo’ among many other stories. His famous novels include ‘Noukadubi,’ ‘Gora,’ ‘Chaturanga,’ ‘Ghare Baire’ and ‘Jogajog’.

Buddhadeva Bose declared in An Acre of Green Grass, “It would be trite to call him versatile; to call him prolific very nearly funny.” Bose added, “The point is not that his writings run into a hundred thousand pages of print, covering every form and aspect of literature, though these matters: he is a source, a waterfall, flowing out in a hundred streams, a hundred rhythms, incessantly.”

Mary M. Lago pointed out in Rabindranath Tagore, “many of his readers never knew—still do not know—that so many of his poems were written as words for music, with musical and verbal imagery and rhythms designed to support and enhance each other.”
