Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam.  Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640.
                Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been following activities – Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar. He has been talking about starting both the programs around Cachar and was willing to do whatever it takes to start these two programs in and around the city. He even identified four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified one Bala Samskar teacher. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samratji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.       
Celebrated Dhanvantari Jayanthi
Dhanvantari Jayanti is dedicated Lord Dhanvantari, the Hindu God of Medicine or Ayurveda. He is considered the Healer of God. Dhanvantri Jayanti 2022 date is October 22/23. It is on this day, Lord Dhanvantari emerged from the sea as a result of Samudra Mantana – churning of ocean.  He was carrying a pitcher of Amrutha (elixir). As per our scriptures he has four hands, one of which holds a pot of nectar, the conch shell, herbs and a chakra. He is believed to have come on earth to protect all creatures from illness and to ensure  long and healthy life.
It usually comes two days before Deepavali. The deity invoked and worshiped by Ayurveda Practitioners. The Jayanti, or birth anniversary, is observed during different times by different Hindu communities. Mostly it is observed two days before Diwali. Dhanteras is observed on the day in western and northern parts of India.
Dhanvantri is also believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
He is shown as holding the pot of Amrit in one hand and a leech in another hand. He appeared to eradicate diseases threatening living beings and for their well-being.

It must be noted that Dhanvantari Jayanti by some communities in South India in August/September. In some regions in southern part of India, it is observed on the second day of the waxing phase of moon in Bhadrapada month. 
It is also known as Danteras or Dhantrayodashi, the day many people celebrate. People worship and pray for wealth and prosperity from Lakshmi Devi. On this day, it is customary to buy gold, sliver and other jewels to bring Goddess Lakshmi home. People also Purchase and buy new things considered to be an auspicious activity on this day
