The nearer you approach to God, the less you reason and argue. When you attain Him, then all sounds—all reasoning and disputing—come to an end. Then you go into samadhi—sleep—, into communion with God in silence.” ― Sri Ramakrishna
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is committed to transmit the richness of Sanatana dharma to the youngsters in terms of the depth and width of knowledge, the sacrifices of national heroes, miracles of Maha Rishis, science and mathematics, and the importance of maintaining the traditions and customs.
This week we talked about the greatness of a spiritual giant Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, the great prophet, who has established the eternal religion in the advanced society, has changed the perspective of Narendra who is rational and wise. He dedicated his life to spiritual contemplation. Ramakrishna, who is perfect in devotion, can see his mother in his wife.
Born on 1836 February 18th in Kamarpukoor, Hooghly district of West Bengal, died in Kosipur Home on 1886 August 16th, on his 50th birthday. There is no birth and death for these divine souls. They are only for the five physical bodies. The cultural renaissance that took place in West Bengal in the 19th century had a stronger impact not only on itself but on the world as well, but there is no one more universal and egalitarian than Ramakrishna Paramhansa. They are always engrossed in secular thoughts and the essence of secularism is imparted in his teachings.

Father is Kshudīrām, mother is Chandramani, but if one is obsessed with the body, then one is tempted to name the person as Chhātopādhyaya. Does the religious world address it? Ramakrishna, who came to live an extraterrestrial life, did not show any interest in education. The first alms that he received from a Shudra girl became sensationalized by society. Ramkrishna has a big heart and has studied other religions thoroughly to know the depth of Hinduism. We will come to know that he saw similarities in all religions.  He is the one who gave blessings to all the hearts of all the religions. After understanding the method of attaining the state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi from the religious gurus of Thotapuri and the process of attaining God-realization through devotion from the virtuous Brahmins, the religious fire in him did not burn to the core. At the age of just eight years, Sarada, who came as Ramakrishna's life partner, considered her as the incarnation of Tripura Sundari, worshiped her and took her from the status of ‘wife’ to the highest level. That is why sexual desire did not arise in their married life. Their Family life co-existed as two minds but not as two bodies in the co-existence.

Ramakrishna deserves the honor of being described India as an equal mother. In the national movement, Mother India was following the footsteps of the British, the thought of enslaving the foreign people was intoxicating to them. The blood boiled. The teachings of Ramakrishna Param Hans contain social elements, humanitarian values, and social reform tendencies. Therefore, even though he was a spiritual yogi after taking up sannyasi, his caste and religion did not affect him in the least.

There must be some reason for the body's elimination, so cancer entered the body for a reason. 1885 December 11: Ramakrishna suffered from severe sore throat. That gradually turned into cancer. All the big doctors in Shampakoor tried and failed to treat him. On December 11, 1885, he was transferred to Kasipur Hospital. The disciples and his wife Sharda Devi performed the final rituals.

Rama Krishna used to suffer a lot from throat cancer. Doctors advised him not to quarrel with anyone in this situation. But Ram Krishna did not agree to refrain from speaking. He could not refrain from talking to those who came to him. As his last days approached, he called Vivekananda and deposited his spiritual strength in him. After him, Vivekananda wanted to continue his thinking, and everyone wanted to cooperate with him. He asked him to look after the disciples carefully, to impart his teachings to them in the future and to groom them into constant embodiments of consciousness. On 16 August 1886, he handed over the reins of authority to Vivekananda in the house of Kashipur. His disciples believe that Rama Krishna went into Maha Samadhi.
On August 16, when Divya Samadhi time came, Vivekananda and 16 other disciples were present. Vivekananda, the heir of Ramakrishna, started his activities in an old house in Bara Nagar on the banks of river Ganga. He was given financial assistance by that institution and some other students. This is the first ashram dedicated to Ramakrishna! After that, as Ramakrishna's ideology became worldwide, it spread to various branches. Ramakrishna Ashramālu is named after selfless service and constant moral values. Ramakrishna Mission was started to spread the teachings of Ramakrishna throughout the world. Ramakrishna started Ramakrishna Math to continue the ascetic way of life. Vivekananda established organizations in the name of Ramakrishna and was able to show his selflessness. Vivekananda, as the soul-son of Ramakrishna, remained the heir of the religious life and created a history that could not be turned back by anyone. As a great scholar, he attracted the attention of the people of the world.
