Since the violence erupted in Bangladesh, there are thousands who lost their lives, injured and fled out of the country. Hindus in Bangladesh were simply asked to move to India leaving all the property, land and cattle and those who did not obey lost or injured at least one member in their family. 
As of now members of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation 16 of them were hospitalized and 11 were in custody of military for ten days, who were being torchered constantly without food, water and ventilation. Hindu youth were arrested by army for simply being appeared on streets near temples, no cases will be taken from Hindus here. After continuous negotiations with army and local Islamic groups were asked to pay 10 lakhs to release those in custody. There is no surprise that all 11 may disappear or perish if ignored. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation bargained all day and agreed to pay 1.50 lakhs and arranged with in two hours and got our youth released. GHHF has already lost a few of our volunteers. Two of those released need immediate medical attention and will be admitted to hospital today.
Sri Ananda Swami has been associated with Global Hindu Heritage Foundation for about three years conducting Bala Samskar Kendras, conducting various festivals, helping Hindus with food, protecting the vulnerable Hindus.

Dhaka, Bangladesh – In a shocking turn of events, volunteers from the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) and devout Hindus were brutally attacked during the Navaratri celebrations.
Incident 1: Petrol Bomb Attack
On the night of Astami, a group of jihadi militants threw a petrol bomb at a Durga Puja pandal in Dhaka's Tatibazar. Courageously, GHHF volunteers and other Hindus chased after the militants in an attempt to apprehend them. Unfortunately, the militants retaliated with sharp knives and other weapons, leaving 7 volunteers seriously injured and hospitalized.
Incident 2: Stone and Hot Water Attack
On the day of Dashera, during the Durga Murti Bisharjan procession, Muslims attacked the procession with stones and hot water from the roof of a building. When GHHF volunteers protested against this violence, the Bangladesh army inexplicably charged at them, arresting 19 volunteers.
Call to Action
We urge authorities to take immediate action to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of Hindu communities. We also appeal to the public to support organizations working towards promoting peace and religious harmony.

However, the international community's response has been mixed, with some criticizing the dissemination of disinformation on the attacks.
