Dr Omendra Ratnu authored this book MAHARANAS: A Thousand Year War for Dharma about two years ago. The great heroes who fought invaders non-stop for 1000 years, who endured all hardships, who refused to surrender even when their kingdom was encircled by enemies on all sides, who lived like nomads, but refused to give up. The Dynasty because of which Kesaria still flies on the sacred land of Bharat.
The way Dr. Ratnu narrates the stories is captivating... He is not only an excellent historian, but also a brilliant storyteller... He should think about coming up with a documentary based on the book...
The first part of the book also deals with the story of the valor and bravery of Gora and Badal, the two legendary Rajput warriors who served Raja Ratan Singh. It divulges uncharted truths about Jauhar (self-immolation) of Rani Padmini and all other womenfolk of Chittor in order to protect their honour and avoid the horrifying fate of being raped and captured by the invading army of Islamic tyrant Alauddin Khilji.
The second part of the book contains the heroic saga of the defiant Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, a beacon of sacrifice and Kshatriya Dharma, who refused to submit to the Mughal tyrant Akbar.
Dr. Prakasarao Velagapudi talked about the danger Hindus across the globe. Hindus are not safe anywhere. Look at Bangladesh. How many Hindus are being attacked, tortured, killed, raped. And houses burned. The whole world is silent on the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh.
Hindus have no future. They are still not organized and become a force to reckon with. Other religions with small percentage are well organized and function as one group and vote as a block. No political party can ignore them if they become a formidable force.
In Pakistan, at the Independence, Hindus used to about 24 percent. Over the years they were depleted to one percent through conversion and brutal force. In Bangladesh, we used to have 30 percent at the time of Independence. Today we have only less than 8 percent. Hindus have learned from history. They need to learn about seven hundred years history as to how Muslims and British ruled the country and destroyed our culture, education, and economy.
