Global Hindu Heritage Foundation celebrated the India’s 77th Independence Day on August 15. More than 200 Bala Samskar Kendra students engaged in the celebrations. 
Sri Kollu Srinivas Raju organized the celebration of India’s Independence and marched in the neighborhood. All the students were informed about the history of Independence and the sacrifices people made to free India from British rule.

Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Bhagat Singh, Dadabhai Naoroji,  Tantia Tope; Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai,  Bal Gangadhar Tilak  Ashfaqulla Khan l Nana Sahib, Sukhdev, Kunwar Singh, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and others. 
Mangal Pandey – He was a soldier in British army but rebelled against his Commander and was executed in 1857.
Bhagat Singh – Known for his patriotic rebellion against the British and was executed at the age of 23.
 Rani Lakshmibai – the ruler of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the rebellion of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British Rule.
Chandra Sekhar Azad - a revolutionary who started Hindustan Republican Association. He was arrested for his participation in the non-cooperation movement.
