[GHHF] Spoke at Ekta Mandir in Pheonix, Arizona on Saturday about the need to work at grassroots level in Bharat.
My wife and I came to Pheonix to visit our family friends, Sri Madhava Rao and his wife Parvati Garu. I admire this family for their goodwill and helping nature.
When I came to Michigan State University at East Lansing, USA in 1965, this is the family who accommodated me and treated me as their family member. We became good family friends for nearly 60 years. He received his PhD in Business from Michigan State University and then worked at University of Detroit for a couple of years, and Eastern Michigan University till 2116. Madhava Rao became second President of TANA.
We just came to see him and Parvati him. We are really excited to visit them and reminisce grand good old days. Another family, Jagan and Uma, whom we know for nearly 64 years, arranged a short speech at Ekta Mandir in Pheonix.
Addressing about 100 people, I mentioned that Global Hindu Heritage Foundation was started in 2006 mainly to free and protect Hindu Temples, revive our Sanatana dharma, encounter the deceptive conversions and radical terrorist activities, and work at ground level to make sure our Hindus are protected in the villages.
To nourish the roots of Sanatana Dharma, nurture our culture and traditions, preserve our ancient heritage, enrich the Hindu way of life, and encounter adharma, GHHF started ground level activities in eight States in Bharat – Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and West Bengal. Also, in Bangladesh.
1) Ghar Wapasi – to protect our Hindus form conversion and welcome back to Hinduism those were converted to Christianity. 20 Pracharaks working at these villages.
2) Bala Samskar Kendras - 200 schools started to educate our children about the richness and greatness of Sanatana Dharma.
3) Grama Devata Temples are being renovated to revive the culture of village Gods and Goddesses to ensure the safety of the villages.
4) Sponsor a Priest – Employing unemployed Priests open the Temples that were closed due to financial difficulties.
5) Dhupa Deepa Naivedyam – Providing necessary puja items to village Temples that could not able to lit the lamps in the villages.
Also talked about Sponsor a Priest program, intinta Shiva Abhishekam and others.
I told them that it is time for all of us to work together to protect our Bharata Mata. We talked enough for centuries on. It is time to ACT. No more excuses. No more apathy. Let us sacrifice our time and resources.
We thank the management of Ekta Mandir for giving me the opportunity to talk about GHHF.
I requested them to Visit our website: www.savetemples.org.
